I have recently removed all previous work from this site. I'm showing only the beginning stages of new work to come.

This piece is Untitled. It is 24" x 24" mixed media — including oil, acrylic charcoal and ink — on gallary-wraped canvas. This is a non-objective abstract. In this piece I have consciously manipulated the elements to achieve the desired compostion.

Field Pattern #12 is 24" x 21", mixed media — including pastel, acrylic and charcoal — on archieval, sanded paper. Another abstracted landscape, this painting took on a life of it’s own and evolved on the easel.

About me

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art (1971) and began a career in commercial art as a designer and illustrator. I was Art Director for Public Television for 23 years until 2001 when I returned to fine art full time.

Since then I have received numerous awards and been included into juried shows and competitions throughout the U.S. My work is held in private collections thoughout the U.S. and South America.

I work in a variety of mediums including pastel, acrylic and oil. Other additions may include charcoal, ink and oil pastel.

My works are basically non-objective or abstracted landscapes. I move between styles depending on the subject and my vision for the final piece.
